Ocean Shell

The stillness is settled until the wind lifts the ocean, and carries it to the soft, moist sand. Then finally backing away, leaving an ocean shell behind.

Every once in awhile the ocean rolls upon the shore. The sand will get soaked, making a little burial around each ocean shell. As the surface dries, the wind is blowing. The dry specks of sand blow in the crevice of some shells, and landing in the furrows of others.

The sand makes a pattern, and hides the shell; although soon the ocean will rise, then rinse off the sand, leaving an ocean shell behind.
