Ed and I decided that for our first pumpkin we wanted a challenge. This challenge came to be trying to carve a cat face into a pumpkin. The result was better than what we expected.
While walking in the zoo, Ed and I came upon a beautiful pond. By chance, somebody was standing nearby. So, I seized the opportunity to ask him to take a picture of Ed and me.
For many years, Eaton's company picnic was held at the Milwaukee County Zoo, and every year there is a location where you can have your picture taken to remember the event. There is always a zoo animal dressed up mascot-style to add that zoo touch to the picture. This year it was a big, fuzzy pig. The pig lived up to his name a little too much with some of the piggy comments he made.
Beth and I didn't want a pig like that in our picture, and in general, we wanted a picture of just the two of us, anyway. So we kicked the pig out (that is, Beth politely asked the pig to leave), and he sadly moped off to the side, where he waited until the next picture (or so we thought).
As the picture started developing, and we could see what had happened behind our backs, we knew we'd been had by a sneaky pig.
