We met at church and quickly became friends. We spent more and more time together and inevitably fell in love. Then, after knowing each other for almost a year, we became engaged on February 7, 1998, one week before Valentine's Day—just early enough to catch Beth by surprise. On July 23, 2000, we were married. We believe that God has brought the two of us together to help and encourage each other and to raise up children to walk in His ways. To that end, we are seeking to grow our family through adoption. We serve God out of gratitude for the gift of eternal life that He has given us through His Son, Jesus Christ. |
About EdAt work I manage a team of software developers. At home, I manage an open source project called Sermons on the Web, which grew out of work I did while directing the A/V ministry at Brookside Baptist Church. Yet, the greatest satisfaction has come from teaching children's church and directing the ministry. I like playing piano and being with Beth. In summer, we play frisbee and tennis and go on bike rides together. | About BethI graduated from Carroll College with a bachelor's degree in elementary and middle education and minor in mathematics. Currently, I teach piano and trombone, and I am involved with the children's church and music ministries at church. I love playing music and the outdoors. |
